Hello World!!!
Are you ready for me??
My name is Kristina and I am 25 years old.
I've decided to start a blog because I will be heading off to teach English in South Korea soon, and I wanted a way for friends and family to find out what I am up to. A bit cheaper and easier than phone calls, yes??
I will be heading off in late January and I am already excited and more than a little nervous about my first true forray into the World by myself; yes that is right, I am going to South Korea.... alone... (eepp!!). I've researched S.K. alot, and I can say with absolute certainty that I think I chose a really good country to go to. I will also be employed with the government, which means I don't have to worry about things like being paid ontime, and whatnot.
I've named this blog Neutiquam Erro because it has significant meaning to me; translated from latin it means "I am not lost". I think befitting for a blog about travel.... unless I am jinxing this opportunity, but I hope not!! I've gotten alot of peace of mind in the past year; gotten my degree, made solid contacts here in the public school district, went to Prague and met wonderful, amazing people who have become good friends, and found a part of me I thought I had lost. But now, I'm not so lost anymore, and I think I've very much found the path that I am supposed to be on.
